After being among the 50 finalists from across the American Continent in the recent Citi Mobile Challenge Latam 2014 -which led Cuatroochenta Panama to defend its candidacy in the final in Buenos Aires-, the second edition of the M2Payments Latam Awards (Mobile to Payments Awards) has selected a new project presented jointly by both firms as a finalist in the category "Best Moible Money Application" (Wallet App). The awards, convened by Frecuencia Latinoamerica to support the most innovative electronic payment initiatives, will be presented next July 17th in the conference Mobile Money & Payments, which will gather in Miami major financial institutions, mobile operators and credit card issuers. It is a fact that Frecuencia Latinoamerica has emerged as the leading speaker entity of the mobile communication sector in Latin America after 15 years of trajectory.

The two finalist in the category (totaling eight among four specialities) will have the opportunity to present their projects on the agenda of the event, which will be attended by prominent speakers, such as the head of Digital Banking at BBVA Bancomer, Hugo Najera; the delegate of Citibank in Latin America, Jorge Ruiz; or the manager of mobile solutions at SAP, Mary A. Gramaglia.

In addition, under the agreement between Pay No Pain and Cuatroochenta, both companies will develop a R&D team for the development of new models of electronic payment. Gathering multidisciplinary staff of both companies, the new team will look into all the possibilities offered by electronic payment, financial derivatives and its relationship to other technologies.
